Great park , it was Sunday and many people were doing sports . Also there were lots of food stands , one of them with an AMAZING strawberry mochi .

Nice park away from busy streets of the city and you can avoid tourists pouring to the castle by staying outside inner wall. Walking around the castle is very relaxing.

A great place to jog! A lap around the castle park is about 4km. Google for jogging routes - there are many!

It's a nice park with lots of different spaces. The grilled crab surimi from the food truck near the castle was surprisingly good--fluffy and bouncy with a nice sweetness.

Really pretty place to see hanami or Sakura :) the chicken skewers at one of the gates entrance (from monimoya station) is really good ☺️

When strolling through this park , you actually don't think you're in a big city as Osaka. Relaxation can be easily achieved here. Note that it's quite touristy and might be crowded with Chinese.

Beautiful castle surrounded by a lovely park , but seems to always be crowded . The elevator only goes up so you have walk down all the stairs.
