24 hr complimentary wifi , big beds but a little soft for more than a couple of nights. Handy shuttle down to harbour , super helpful and friendly staff :-)

Auckland’s onetime jewel, near the CBD and Ponsonby, has retained some of its luster thanks to the renovated lobby and lounge , with their high ceilings , marble floors, and old-school tea service.

If you go to the bar and have a coffee they give you 3 hours free wifi . Biscotti and sauce free with coffee.The walls are too thick to use your own mobile data capture.

Such nice hotel and good service . The rooftop pool , jacuzzi and spa are a delight. The lobby restaurant has the worst service in the world though, don’t eat there

The hotel is going through a refurbishment. Ask to stay in one of the newly updated rooms such as the ones on level 5. They are nicely put together.

Great valet parking . Although bit of chaos today never seen it so busy.

They have an Ipod dock in their bedrooms! Woohoo!

Divine savouries. Don't fill up on the scones .

Don't forget to use the pool while you are here.

The bar is friendly ; and if you're staying here the service throughout is impeccable!

Try the sauna and ice shower in the spa !

Pretty dated and old hotel . A place your grandpa would've loved but makes me feel like I'm on the titanic. Pick Sofitel instead

At a $130 dinner and they ran out of diet coke after 20 minutes. They call this the Great room......fail

Staff is helpful and kind but hotel is so old it's not even funny. Gonna fall apart soon :D
