New World park is my favorite. One of the best local food centers with a large choice of local dishes Chinese, Indian, Malay (and Western) dishes to choose from. A must for any visitor.
Looks very empty but if u walk to the middle area where there is an open air stage , there are 5 ringgit per entry Zumba classes on Tuesday nights at 7:30pm
Assam laksa , satay , fruit rojak , char kway teow , ice kacang , oyster omelette etc. Apart from the food court , there are a number of other restaurants as well plus a Starbucks..
Great place for having a meal and sit for a long time. The cafetaria has so many dishes u can pick.????
There's a Indian restaurant serving banana briyani rice ! Should try it and best serve with mur tons there. Servers are very friendly and worth the price.
Curry Mee , Yam Cake , Cucur Udang and Yong Tau Foo were pretty good. Avoid Wan Tan Mee and Laksa . The Laksa was so bad that even my English friend from UK complained.
There's a new coffee shop opening, and some Xmas deco too. Not sure the rumors of closing down is still valid?
We will be Every weekend over here for the Flea Market ! My Stall just beside of the Kid's Playground there ! We are selling Fashion Clothes !!
Only love their fruit juice ! Orange lemon and passion fruit ????
Curry mee and hokkien mee is the best
Do not try the laksa . Ice kacang and coffee is quite nice :) Most of the food is normal :)
Definitely the cendol & asam laksa !!!
Mee goreng sultan is swatow old-timer. Secret ingredient here is chinese-style rehydrated cuttlefish . Still good, but short of previous excellence.
Sar hor fun is excellent. Laksa is just avg by local stds, but will satisfy deprived diaspora.
Yam rice with dried shrimps .
Sooo expensive !!! Rm7 for the lrft one and Rm5.50 for the right one...
Epitome of modern food court . Spacious , airy, pleasant & decent facilities. Has assimilated many of the swatow lane old-timers, so food is pretty ok.
ABC and rojak buah is tops!
Indian Briyani rice the best
The food only look for is Yong Taofu.
Changes coin for the kiddie ride machine only realize all machines are not workable but only the coin changing machine.
Not as good as seen on the Internet. Prices are quite high too. Char kuey tiao and ou jien taste good only.
Most of the food there are normal, try the ice kacang with ice cream , the claypot bee tai bak (lou hsu fan) is not bad too.
Fantastic they have free wifi by RedTone. Sign up and start surfing .
More mee in mee curry for locals but not the outsiders. Ban!
Teppan chicken & chendol, dont miss it!
Cozy place, but so little attraction compare to Gurney Drive
I find the fried rice here pretty good. The one next to the oh chien stall ;)
The food at here isn't exceptionally good, but it's one of the spot where most of the Penang famous food can be found.
Food's heaven here although its kinda expensive here
