Kheng nyonya kueh. Opens at 3.30pm but lots of customers waiting around before that time ! After that , they buy as if the kueh was free ! Real crazy !
One of the locals' favorite hang-up spot for groceries (afternoon), and foods (lunch ). Parking can be challenging at times during peak hrs (afternoon). Price is slightly abv avg mkt. px.
All varieties of foods and drinks are available. A plate of pasembur and sugar cane drink is a must to try.
Noon time: char koay kak , mee goreng , pasembur, nasi tomato , tony's ice kacang & chendol recommended. Evening onwards: seafood chu char, good and tasty dishes.
So many good things in one place! The Char Koay Kak (stall 33), Popiah (stall 31), Chinese Pasembur and the Nasi Kandar (both stalls). Still a local haunt so enjoy it before the tourists ruin it.
Very nice kuihs ! Lots of people buying n nobody know how to Q over here! :D pasembur is nice too! But gotta remind them as they forget! :D
Must try Roti Jala with chicken curry and passembor jellyfish ! Popiah and char kuey teow are a must too if you can finish.
Tony's ice kacang at Stall 22 is a must try
You will be spoilt for choice here, but I especially like the hokkien/lor mee (mixed soup/gravy) - it's the stall near the shrine entrance, opposite a nasi kandar stall...
Hainan Chicken Rice ~ Must eat with the special chilies sos. Their Chai Bui Soup is simply superb!
Lunch time is the best to come. Drink the sugar cane . Same row with sugar cane has one pasembur is awesome!
Fried kuey diao very nice !!! The chicken stall beside jawa Mee very dirty ! The seller read newspaper and touch his leg infront of customer ! Geli
Chinese styled pasembur is very special here. Get to see the crowd of people during lunch time.
Char Koay Teow is best. The pasembur is worth a try. Chicken rice with the preserved vegetable soup is not bad too.
Best kuih in town . Superb kuih , stall opens at 3.30pm, normally will sold out in a couple of hours. Haha.
Try Tomyam Maggie ...you won't regret ...the fried fish is awesome !

It used to be a great place to get lots of delicious hawker fares. Now not so much, just a place to eat.
Char koay teow stall always rest. I heard only open on weekend and Monday. Mee goreng and pasembur very nice!
Love the pasembur and the Yew char kuay & nyonya kueh are the best!

Wan tan mee beside chao kuih kak is good! RM3.50 for small. Springy noodles , but don't expect good char Siew . Asam laksa no longer here.
