Children's Musuem of Illinois is located next to Scovill Zoo on the shores of Lake Decatur. It is ranked one of the top 25 children's museums in the US. Admission is $5 for non-members, ages 2 and older.

Very fun for my 4 yr old. He loved the bubble room and the mechanic shop. Worth the drive from Springfield !!!! It's 5 to get in for kids and adults. Check out the gift shop . Reasonably priced!!
