St Thomas VI (Northside) Charlotte Amalie Saint Thomas Island 00801 U.S. Virgin Islands
Great and expansive beach ! Small fee required but worth it. There is a full bar , a well supplied concession stand, and a gift shop onsite. Popular but plenty of room!
Magens Bay is one of the most famous beaches in the VI, and for good reason. If you can, choose a day with the fewest cruise ships in port so that the stunning beach is as private as possible.
Me and My family Visit St. Thomas every year we can. We have been coming to this island for over 12 years now. We always go to the Worlds Famous Mountain Top to look at all the Islands . Read more
Most popular and maybe the best beach on the island . Bartenders will serve your favorite drink on the beach . Entrance for 2 + parking = $12. Two beach chairs + umbrella = $65, plus expenses .
Amazing water
Their is a secluded little spot on the far right of the bay . Take a kayak and enjoy this part of the bay with no fat ugly drunk tourists from the USA acting superior over the locals.
It doesn't get much better than this. Best amenities on the island . Worth the small fee to get in.
One of the Top 10 worlds most beautiful beaches . The ride to the beach is picturesque. calm sea, almost no waves and white sand . Cool!
Visit Glen's Yak Shak for watersports like paddle boarding and kayaking ! He's also a world-champion ultimate frisbee player and will be happy to show you a thing or two
Not much fun when the cruise ships are in, but a short walk down the beach will get you away from everyone!
Beautiful bay with a quiet atmosphere and an amazing view . This is a perfect example of why people love living on an island .
Walk, relax, drink, party and take in the views ! This is one of the top places to visit in the world!!!!!!
$5/adult entrance fee + $2 parking fee. The far left side of the beach is less rocky & crowded . There is a beach bar , and outdoor showers .
It's in the 10 top list of beaches you must go. As all the beaches in the caribbean is pretty cool and nice but I wouldn't consider in my top 10.
Free before 8am/after 5pm. 8-5 they charge $2-$4 per person (depending on if you're local) and $2 per car. Reasonable considering how busy it is and how much work must go into keeping it up.
One of the beast beaches ever .. You must have to pay him a visit !!
Walk down to the very west end of the beach and follow a dirt road into the wooded area to check out an amazing little arboretum.
Cruise ship passengers on excursions generally begin arriving at 10AM and begin departing at 2PM. Things are less hectic, more peaceful earlier in the morning and toward the end of the day.
National Geographic favorite. Voted one of the top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world. Can see why.
Beautiful white sand ..peaceful ..sounds of waves crashing..friendly beach bar..good food
Nice beach but "top ten in the world"? I wouldn't say so. Barbados or Australia have it beat.
Check the St. Thomas Daily News for a schedule of when the cruise ships are in port and how many passengers are expected. Then avoid, avoid, avoid the crowd. Beach is best when it is less crowded .
Voted one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. See for yourself!
Nice beach . There is an access fee and many amenities .
Lifeguards on watch here…in certain areas
You can't go wrong on a beach !
If you snorkel go out to the no swimming line there are turtles schools of fish and a few small mantas
While sight seeing, saw a beautiful rainbow over the beach and had to visit before I left. Lovely is the word.
The sand gets a little hot so make sure to bring shoes !
Get away from cruise crowd by walking to the far end of beach by the rocks - away from the houses. Much more quiet :)
Agreed, do NOT come on a day when there are a lot of cruise ships , but it's the # 9 beach in the world, really beautiful. Definitely worth checking out!
Amazing beach !! And oh! Try the rum punch ! (At least twice!!)
All services. Admittance & parking fees. Arboretum and nature trail . Camping .
Soft sands but crowded and lots of leaves
$4 per person if you're a tourist and a $2 parking .
Stop by the dairy when leaving Magen's Bay !
Great view of this beach is from the Drake's Seat overlook.
Amazing!!!
Most beautiful beach !! Lovin it!
The beach is amazing.
Best beach yet.
Try to get close to the bar - nothing really here to do except drink. Very calm waters here. Nice beach , but boring.
Snorkel and stay at edges for best sights.
Breathtaking view
Beautiful beach , not good for snorkeling and make sure you don't come when the cruise ship dropped off a bunch of people!
One of the most peaceful , beautiful beaches I've ever been too. All you hear is the water crashing on the shore. Crystal clear.
One of the best beaches on St. Thomas
Beautiful beach but unfortunately not Free... very very dislike
Come early or you won't get a spot

The fish love to eat dog bones. Yes. Dog bones. Learned this from a local at Coki beach and we ended up snorkeling with 300 fish grabbing bites from our hands. Great vacation. - Chris Skelly
