Go early in the day and/or when the weather is a bit cooler — the hike to the park is about 20 minutes or so, and definitely feels nicer when it's not so hot. Spring for the monkey food.
A fun morning out with great views from the top. Wear decent footwear for the hike and don't go on a hot day. Don't follow Google maps instructions either!
A bit of a hike up but so worth it. See monkeys just hanging out and feed them apples and peanuts !
Arrived at 16:00 and after climbing up for ~15 mins had plenty of time to enjoy the views and monkeys . The entry closes at 16:30 and you can stay up there until ~17:00 or so
Beautiful walk through the forest to get to a very close encounter with lots of monkeys . It is worth the very steep climb . There were lots of baby monkeys (born April to July)
Be prepared for a steep climb to the top. Sweated bricks during the summer. The baby monkeys are adorable. Fun to watch the monkeys laze around or play with each other.
Monkeys are funny and harmless, but do not bring any food or get near them. It’s also kind oh hard to get there: a 25 minute walk up the mountain .
