Some steps down the street a dog of stone is keeping watch. It was a dog's barking that saved the emperor's daughter from being kidnapped by the Hungarian King, whose marriage proposal was rejected.

The clock tower has reversed hands :) The larger one marks the hours while the smaller marks the minutes.
