Safdarjung's Tomb is a garden tomb with a marble mausoleum. It was built in 1754 in the late Mughal Empire style, & was described as "the last flicker in the lamp of Mughal architecture ".
In June 2014, the ASI shifted their office from the tomb to General Pool Offices near the Indian National Army Colony

Huge place, lots to see, but not in the guidebooks, so it's pleasantly empty. Free admission, too. Guards will let you into Jamali's tomb and tell you a bit for a tip... - Nick
