Ghastly old, run down hotel . Rooms freezing cold without heaters that actually work, and wifi pitifully slow. Overall a massive embarrassment in a tourist focused city

Room is big and this is all good I can say. There is no air conditioning , it is dirty , wi- fi practically does not exist. I paid for two nights but stand only first.

Terrible reception,they put the phone busy and you cannot ever reach them.So rude.The kettle and the hair dryer don’t work, I asked for it but the reception completely ignored it.

Cheese board is fantastic and well worth trying.

No aircon in standard rooms, if it's hot go elsewhere. Staff not very helpful either, very unimpressed, most Rydges are quite good, this is the exception.

The rooms are a bit dated. Could do with a renovation.
