impressive architecture , and the modern exhibits are great!
You can get a beer here, in what is one of the natural history museum 's uncrowded cafés .
31 October: A unique exhibit , offering visitors the opportunity not only to learn about the team of scientists working in the Darwin Centre but also to meet & interact with them, witnessing real work.
We were told many of these specimens, including the tortoise, belonged to Darwin
The cocoon is great. It's also often quiet and peaceful
When I went there there was a very good play about a young Darwin.
It's like being inside Noah's arc except tht these are preserved for eternity and aren't alive ;)
Nice and air conditioned on a hot day.
The staff say the Darwin Centre is always quiet because 'people don't know it's there'
Indulge your inner scientist .

VR experience is a bit of a gimmick. David Attenborough is wonderful but the tech could be improved. FYI it's 360 degree 2D video, not 3D. - kiptrip
