Definitely a must visit museum (and it's free)! Soak in the immensely huge and beautiful atrium. Don't forget to head to the bridge on the top floor if you want cool photos.
Great atmosphere🤩
One of the most beautiful museum building in the world. It's free so expect a long queue for entering and another even longer one for the dino... Be there at 10!
Get there super early particularly for the dinosaurs as it gets incredibly busy or go on a sunny day ... don't miss the butterflies in the marquee at the front Read more
One of the best museums for all things life and earth. Use the other entrance on Exhibition Road to avoid the long lines into this beautiful building. Bring extra fun tasks for the children to do!
A must when in London! spend a couple of hours or have a quick look, make sure you pass by the mammal section and visit the nearby museums as well 😍
The part I saw seemed to be aimed, exclusively, at younger children and those doing early Christmas shopping . Would like to have seen more specimens in the Red Zone. The blue whale is awesome, though!
The Natural History Museum is absolutely incredible! It is a fantastic walk through history that can be experienced by all ages! Beautifully maintained, wonderful historical memories throughout!
it's huge so save time to enjoy the amazing journey from mammas to dinosaurs and sea world, It's also free 👍🏻. Skating Arena is outside the museum and u need to book online as it's usually booked .
free. if you love all things related to nature you will love this place. so much to see and do you can easily spend a minimum half day. the exhibits are brilliant, especially the Darwin section.
Recommend coming on a week day during term time. Too packed to move! On a Sunday at 4pm, we had to queue for a long time to get in - will tell you what it's like on our return!
The main entrance the building itself is totally worth it. The rest of the museum , although a bit old, remains interesting and fun activity to do (even better if you have kids). And it’s free!!!
Went to one of the lates. The architecture of the building in side and out is something to behold. Visited the Wild Life Photography exhibition which was incredible.
Obviously the dinosaurs and mammals exhibitions are fantastic; but do not miss the minerals, The Vault and the Sequoia on the second and third floors of Green area . Absolutely amazing.
On the last Friday of every month, the museum hosts an adult only "Museum Lates" event where everyone can browse the museum and buy drinks :) Well worth the visit after a long month and day of work 😊
Amazing structure housing some amazing creatures. Iconic whale and dinosaur bones are definitely worth catching but the rest of the place mustn't be ignored. Late night are the best so check schedule
Had enough of queues to see dead stuff? Check out the wildlife garden at the back of the Darwin Center. Ponds , hedges, bee-trees, lillies; it beautiful. Also a good place to loose 3 year olds!
Amazing place for the people of all ages. Admission free. A lot of rooms with interactive boards and models of dinosaurs and animals. Big room with minerals. A journey to the "Beginning of Earth".
I love how it’s free for entry but that also makes it overly crowded , to the point where it’s hard to walk! The museum overall is nice, but we couldn’t see everything because of how crowded it was.
Really nice, speacilly for kids, with all kind of nature and science. The dinossours session will blow your mind! Book 2 hours at least for visiting.
Very nice museum in London you can't miss. The dinosaurs section is the best and the architecture of the place is amazing.
Amazing museum - wonderful space and it's all free! Dinosaur and marine exhibits are amazing but so are the birds, planets and earth exhibits ! Cafes are expensive though
On the last Friday of every month the museum stays open late with wine available in one of the galleries until 10:30. You also can eat in the delicious-smelling restaurant on the ground floor.
Best part is that It’s free. The dinosaurs fossils are great for all ages and there's good depth to the science and culture for adults. Highly recommended!
An excellent museum , and free (donation recommended) to boot. Saw the butterflies and the coral reef display, both limited time engagements. Dinosaurs and sea mammals were a hit with the kids as well .
The museum served as a part of the British Museum until it moved to its own building in 1884. In the Natural History Museum, you can find information about creatures that developed in history. Read more
Kids will definitely love the dinosaurs exhibits . To avoid the queues, use the 'secret' entrance on Exhibition Road . Do pop over to the Science Museum and V&A Museum which are just round the corner.
Love the museum so much , very informative and you can spend whole afternoon there. Free admission . Suitable for family as well .. can head to Hyde park after the museum visit
This museum is really really big that it takes hours to see all the things. The museum includes almost everything. Geography, biology, animals... Also it's free! And don't use the main entrance.
Best Museum in London , obviously for free. Try to avoid peak times though.
You will never forget the sight of the dinosaur skeleton at the entrance. Don't forget to admire the building's interior as it's very atmospheric. Ice skate ring just in front in winter!
Great day out for the whole family, don't miss the Dinosaur and Whale exhibits
Get there early as it gets very busy on weekends & school hols. But don't be put off by the queues to see the dinosaur exhibits . We were told a 20min wait but were in in no more than 10 min
Everyone should visit this museum . Words cannot explain how beautiful, well designed and informative it is. Every country needs a gem like this. Science will lead the way. ✌️
The museum is great, but don't miss the Hogwarts like architecture of the building with all it's goblins and details.
A museum definitely worth visiting. There are plenty of things to see about nature and animals, either you're going for yourself or bringing children.
I think, this is the best museum on London. It's free and if you want you can pay for all the atractions. You can see the dinossaurs without wait is At after 17:00.
Go here if you like science. The most crowded area is the dinosaur section . There are actual fossils and bones on exhibit . There's also a "live" T-Rex. And most importantly, admission is free.
Come down for dinosaurs and wildlife exhibitions in a stunning Hogwarts-like Victorian building. Don't miss the summer butterflies exhibition or join the lates for a more adult- friendly evening.
It's free, there are lots of dinosaurs , and it's huge! Must visit for families with kids. There's usually ice skating outside the grounds during winter.
What a building!! Amazing experience , free good for families and very educational (mostly for young ones). You will need half of a day to explore all of it.
Dinosaur section is popular. Go online to book a slot for it. No need to queue to get to this area. Just go to the entrance to the section, show the booking , and you're in. Saves you standing in line .
