This is a wonderful place to be, full of backpackers, with amazing drinks (Missisipi Mud!) nevertheless, be aware of 23% tax, especially when you drink a lot.

One of if not the best place in Thamel to go for live music , a bit more pricey then the other places in the area but its well worth it with the live music

Although I've been here after almost a decade..One thing that has not changed is the warm welcome to the local Nepalese at New Orleans. No one cares when locals visit the place. This is the 5th time.

Nice quiet (in afternoon). Kathmandu can be so noisy and busy. This is a nice hideaway! Mellow music in the shade outside.
