There are many reasons why backpackers all around the world gather here. The food is superb, the heater works and the vibe is chilled and friendly . One can come here every day and never get bored...

A good place for vegetarian or vegan gluten-free food. The tea with ginger , lemon and honey is great for cold. As almost all restaurants in Kathmandu, you'll sit on the floor and it's very cozy .

Low tables to sit in cushions, smoke and no smoke areas , strong temp. heater, lounge chill music (not so loud , comfortable enough for talking), very good food, some menus with egg (non-vegan), clean !

Good place to chill :) they have soya milk but they just give you warm soya milk and tea bag so totally different from normal milk Nepali tea ! But finding soya milk is rare here so can't help having it

Charging points and free WiFi - that's on top of he amazing food and reasonable prices. Win. Open for breakfast too. One of the cosiest places in all of Kathmandu.

Yum or2k platter . Ask for the spicy green chutney to add a hint of flavour to the mix.

With a very warm and laid back jazzy atmosphere and great vegetarian dishes , Or2K is a must when in Kathmandu. Try the Combo Platter.

Rated the healthiest spot in Katmandu. Vegan too. The Veg sizzler didn't disappoint. Banana brandy wrap was okay but 'kiss from Zuri cake topped it off. ✨

Good middle-eastern (and vegetarian ) food but a bit expensive . You will only see tourists . Still, I recommend you try it once!

Very cosy place , nicely decorated. Always full which shows its popularity. Good spot to meet felkpw travellers. Prices are not low but good value for money . Try Sabich sandwich and salads excelent !!

Laid back floor seating , typical menu and funky decor make this place interesting. Cooks need more training not to serve over cooked food and improve poor plating. Service competent, but slow.

Try Tove's Cauli Pie . Comes with a nice salad and fries .

Not as good as it use to be a few years ago, but still the best place to go for vegetarian food in Thamle, it just used to be SO MUCH better.
