Everyone is queueing to grab a seat to eat the famous chicken with riceball. Remeber to get some umbrella to sheild yourself from the sun.
Super delicious hainanese chicken and rice balls , especially the chicken ... Must try in malacca!!!????????????even long queue during peak holiday season, worth to try!!!????
Its rice ball is really smooth almost like fish ball , the chicken is very unique different from normal chicken in chicken rice , more moist, more fluffy.
Just come in, sit down and they will serve you. 5 rice balls per person. Chicken is tender and juicy. Rice is fragrant! ????
A whole chicken is rather small and for three ladies is jus enough. It's so good make sure you order enough!
Chicken is juicy and chilli sauce is tasty.. Just the chicken ball rice seems too soft.. Need to queue during holiday!

I don't normally like boiled chicken but this was pretty nice. Not too oily but surprisingly fragrant and tender. RM$24 feeds a family of 4 with half a chook & 20 (fish-ball sized) rice balls .
Finally, ive got my chicken rice balls from Chung Wah. Very nice chicken with authentic chicken rice balls !! Chung Wah is still the best after trying few stores :)
Best chicken rice ball in Malacca. Rmb to come early to avoid long queue. ❤????
The chicken is smooth and nice. Recommend this. Still affordable
The quality of their rice has dropped and the size of chicken has also shrunk over the years but tastes delicious !!!
Come earlier the better , or else you'll be caught in the line . Best in town so far.
Forever long queue! The chicken is juicy but the chicken rice ball too soft and sticky if compared with 和记.
Rice opposite here has another Chicken rice ball with a great service there. Also, an QR code to collect the point ^_^
Nice! When alot of ppl queuing, u just allow order 1 time. Not allow u to reorder any chicken ~ ╭(╯ε╰)╮
Smooth chicken , special of rice ball , and the long long queue. XD
If you come late afternoon, you wont get to try. But right opposite there ready to serve you with a better service and great.
Expensive n lanci!Table for 8 must order 1.5-2 whole chicken ,only 40pcs rice balls n cant order more.Chicken is very fat n doesn't taste good, rice balls has strong oil smell, cold n doesn't taste good!
come here before 9.30am so that you need not to Q!:)
Come on weekday, no need queued for so long. Really delicious chicken rice ????????
The original chicken rice ball in jonker street.. But long queue la.. The taste hasn't changed after so many years, but the size of the rice ball has changed :'(
Heard the most famous and tourist place to eat Hainan Chicken rice ball
Very famous restaurant , so can't avoid the long queue unless you get there in the morning. Chicken is really of good taste.
Other than the chicken rice balls , surprisingly their wuntun soup is really really nice
Very long long queue. Friendly service . Food also good. Best in malacca. Recommended!!!
Chicken with rice shaped like fish ball is a must try !!!
Come before 9am. You may have ur nice breakfast without waiting or long Q ;D
Best chicken rice ball and the chili very nice! Sour and spicy ! Delicious!
Its just like any other chicken rice ball in melaka. Dont think its worth queing...thats just my opinion.
Overrated, long queue. Serve only half/whole chicken just because they are kampung chicken . Chicken presentation was terrible, pricey & unfriendly hainanese staff . P/s: I'm hainanese who can speak! ????
Very good chicken rice . This shop convince me it's good
Queued for an hour with high hope, unfortunately, i must say, their chicken rice ball is soso only & they served us chicken wings , didn't get to choose the part I want. Not worth waiting & expensive !
Very good Hainanese chicken and rice balls . Go early to prevent long line .
Seriously I don't understand why this place is so famous! The chicken is shit, any shop will be better yet they will fix the portion for u based on the people u go like forcing u to eat those chicken .
Love their steam chicken !
Wouldnt say that they are the best but they are the only one who is not so commercialize like hoo kee. Chicken was over cooked a bit but personally i like it that way especially the chicken breast
Is already jam pack before 9am. But worth for the wait.
Best chicken rice ball in MELAKA.....don't ever miss this when you come to Melaka.
This is the Original Chicken Rice Ball Shop. Long queues here and must wait for the Chicken Rice . Delicious and Awesome! Must Try!
Only have 2 choice now.. Whole chicken with 30 rice balls or Half chicken with 15 rice balls .. No add on after ordered..
I know things the oldest and original chicken rice ball shop in melacca but their service is really bad. The way they talk or act just made me so frustrated. Especially the bald guy
Overpriced food. Ordered 3 plates of rice balls (each plate has 5 rice balls ) & half chicken . Plus drinks for 4. Total bill came up to RM35. So expensive plus it's wasn't a meaty chicken .
Used to be the best, went back for it today and the quality dropped drasticly. Overrated, messy chopped chicken and the rice balls were tasteless. Won't come back again.
Mama taste (in jonker street also) has better chicken rice ball than here
Chicken still remain the same taste... but still huge crowd even it's on Monday. ..
Just wondering is the place has reopened ?
Too expensive . The chicken is not that nice as expected. Minimum order half of chicken for 2 person and 2 bowl of rice which is only 5 pieces in one bowl. Definitely disappointed with it.
U have to queue coz alot of customer like it but after eat it, u will think its worted.
Definitely taste better than Formosa. Loved the chilling sauce
