Fort St Elmo is a historic and protected site Valletta located in Malta.
Fort St Elmo Valletta VLT 1741 Malta
Beautiful fort with a stunning view of the Great Harbour . Also houses the National War Museum .
When buying the heritage pass this is a must!
Go there, take your kids there. Restored site with an impressive walk through Maltese and parallel European and Ottoman history.
The war museum is well designed and maintained. Plan at least 60-90 minutes for your visit.
Fort St Elmo was used for several shots in World War Z (2013) as Jerusalem is overrun by zombies and Gerry tries to escape the city with Segen.
❤️ good place
Worth about 2€. Most part seem closed and inaccessible.

Mdina is a must-visit when on Malta. It's very pictoresque and with plenty of opportunities for great photos as well as pleasant afternoon tea. Go to Fontanella tea rooms on the ramparts. - Guido Gybels
Wonderful prehistorical site, load water with you, a long way walking under the sun. - Giuseppe Mannarino
Archeological site on the South coast of Island of Malta - Daniele D'Addio
Nice views across the harbour from this vantage point. - Enzo Martinelli
Equally lovely, more quiet and sedate with benches facing the harbour so you can sit and read. - Chris R (thechristophe)
