Make sure you grab a "Teh Tarik " (hot milk tea ) with your meal - it tastes authentic here! The sharp tea taste is well balanced by the thick creamy milk .

Great value for money , tasted just like real Malaysian food . The friend Kway teow was quite oily but tasted great with a Milo Dino!

Ask for the Hainese Chicken rice . It's not on the menu and if they have some available it's really good. The chicken is succulent and the rice is tasty!

Char kuey teow w/ lots of squid & prawns , is plentiful for my stomach! Yummy :) Teh tarik is just sweet enough w/ hint of bitter. Perfect.

If you know the owner well enough on some days they can whip up wat tan hor for you. Their version is excellent!

Average Malaysian food . If you know of the mamak in Sydney you might have thought that they were the same branch but unfortunately not and same goes for the food quality. Very oily dishes.

Maybe because of being lost in translation, they are not very good at explaining the ingredients that they use in sauces. Be ready- you can easily eat here chicken which smells like a fish .

Food quality has seemed to have gone down eg the char kway teow is not authentic , using the incorrect noodles . Stick to the curry laksa .

RUDE STAFF . Came at closing time, & wanted to ask about their hours.. In which a staff at the back yelled very rudely, "You think we are open!? We. Are. Closed." First rude staff I came across in NZ.
