Strongly recommended. Ramen is very good. Ordering system is efficient. The system and their service make the wait much shorter than it looks. definitely is a milestone for Bay Area’s ramen history.
DELICIOUS RAMEN ! The Black King (squid ink ) ramen with heavy garlic , green onions , kakuni, firm thin noodles , and 1 spicy came out perfectly! The broth is so flavorful and the noodle is perfect too.
The ramen is fantastic, and the kitchen is vibrant and full of life, I was lucky to sit at the bar , great experience, this is like a Ramen place in Japan but in South bay
Tried both the Red King (normal spicy is more like mild) & Black King . Liked both! If you like Al dente noodles , maybe try getting thick noodles . Extra firm on thin noodles was still soft for my taste
Vegetarian 🌱 ramen is heavenly! Don’t eat anything before this. They really helped us choose the best option and it was amazing 🤩 .
EXCELLENT place! Well worth the half hour wait because the quality is top-notch with staff very eager to teach you what they put into their dishes.
It was very authentic like ichiran where you can completely customize your order with many different broths. For first timers Level 2 spicy is very tolerable. Look out for long wait times even at open
Squid ink and black garlic ramen is sooooo good! The flavor is Rich and smooth. Recommend getting it with the thicker ramen noodles .
The Black King is a good bowl of ramen – only so-so chashu but an interesting seafood and squid ink broth and great noodles . But no way is this worth the insane wait!
Try the veggie ramen , really nice and rich broth, and the hashes are super good!!
Amazing broth!! Everything is so fresh and tasty. Staff is great too. I’ll be back for sure.
Amazing ramen ; best place in the Bay Area. Green was my least favorite, but still not bad. Red and Black are the best.
The Red King is my favorite- a little spicy , brimming with flavor and broth. Love the pork belly version with egg
Delicious spicy ramen and gyozas ! Prices are also low and service is okay.
Close enough to ramen you would eat in Tokyo. Expect to queue 1 hour or more if you’re not early. Don’t miss the snack gyoza . The tamago 🥚 is a little bland.
Lots of customizable option for their 3 basic ramen broths. Vegan dish also features as a guest. I wanted a miso ramen and was disappointed when I realized it wasn’t available
Red King with level ten hotness is the bomb. 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🔥🔥🔥
If you have the time to spare, Ramen Nagi is 100% worth waiting in line for. Unbelievably delicious.
Original, Black & Red all delish! Get firm thick noodles & light flavor & spicy #2. Egg is perfect!
Prefer the thicker noodles , both are good. The chicken karage side is really chicken nanban and tasty.
The tonkotsu ramen is so authentic . The best ramen shop in the Bay Area!
I got the chefs recommendation with pork belly and was not disappointed.
Tasty tonkotsu broth but not really authentic . Somewhat overseasoned, too much pepper which masks the flavour of the tonkotsu . Decent attempt though. The squid ink is interesting, but overseasoned.
Wait was fair . Ramen was so good! I will definitely go back.
Get the Black King + chefs choice for a delicious rich and flavorful ramen .
DELICIOUS... You have to wait sometime in the line but is worth-it!!!!
Bring some music on headphones or games to play, it's going to be a long wait (45-90 minutes).
Veggie ramen was rich and nice. So good.
Level 1 spice ain’t spicy enough
Ask for the available appetizers…they’re not always listed on the menu.
Solid tonkotsu ramen
The vegi option was amazing!
Spicy ramen !
Longest line ever, but ramen was very good
The occupancy limit is 74.
Expect a wait. Very long lines even at opening.
Black King
They give more meat in their ramen than other places! So delicious - Tim Deng
Get the edamame set and mix and match. Can’t go wrong with the Takana! - Douglas Gray
They make the waffle cones fresh behind the counter. Get one in a cup (like a tortilla) if you don’t normally like cones. - Douglas Gray
Ask about their chocolate workshops. It's great fun for small group events. Quite the learning experience as well. Highly recommended. - Loretta Donigi
