About 30 minutes drive from Ipoh, near Batu Gajah, stands the ruins of Kellie's Castle. It belonged to William Kellie Smith, an English rubber tycoon during the late 19th century. The castle was never completed as Smith left for Scotland in the midst of its construction, and never returned.

Beautiful historical site . Get a suntan while walking here and climb up to the rooftop to take nice pics
RM5 per entry from 9am-6pm daily. One of the most beautiful unfinished castles in the world. Makes you wonder how it'd look like if it was completely built by William Kellie Smith
Community awareness against cleanliness still low. Can see rubbish around. Nice site to visit. Keep it on the maintenance. Still a nice place to visit in Batu Gajah.
quite a nice place to visit to see the architecture , learn some history, etc.. worth making a quick stop.
Haunted and can feel the ghostly vibe on top of the roof. Careful when you walk upstairs, no fence whatsoever, creepy. Why shouldn't build one? want to see someone die then build?
Recommended! Parking RM 2, Entrance RM 10. Nice place to take photos & hangout.
Moorish arches and walls embellished with Greco-Roman designs. There was to be a rooftop courtyard for parties and even an elevator , the first of this kind in the country .
It's a very nice place. Those who fancy supernatural stuffs should visit this place. I wish they open in the night tho.

Quite disappointed with the space planning of this mosque... A huge mosque with NOT so big praying area. Escalator not operate during normal praying time, which is not friendly to old folks. - Syam
