Love eating here. The place is spotless. The staff polite & attentive. Food is always off a very good standard. There is plenty of outdoor seating . Is close to a children's playground

Has its own brewery in the cellar. Beautiful pub with elegant furnishings. Great real ales .

Brewing their own ale underneath the pub , it doesn't get more local than that really! Usual staple bar food, and some unusual drinks on the taps to try. Very busy with a wide range of people drinking.

Excellent menu, great ale both home brewed and from local breweries . Good package deals (theatre menu etc) and even cater for students. Lovely atmosphere, great for groups and swing music :)

Steak on the school dinner deal is just so good. Meat is superb quality. Portion size is very good. However, not much of difference in portion size in "school dinner " fish&chips & normal fish&chips

The Borough is amazing! If you are visiting Lancaster you must stop off for a pint and some food!
