The pastel de nata are the best I've ever eaten (even better than those I tried at Pasteis de Belem in Lisbon, where they originate). Amazing value, cool style and friendly staff .
I am amazed that this place has such a good rating. I ordered meat trilogy which are 3 small sandwiches with meat and different topics. Bread was old, meat dry. Pasteis de nata are also average ????
Almost everything they made is very good: don't be afraid to try! The bread is fresh, a little expensive compared with others places, but I think it´s fair ! There's no place to eat seated :(
Had a very good breakfast here, the tostas are really nice. Service was pretty slow, but it's worth the wait.
Tosti with mozarella amd salmon was delicious. Salmon was fresh. Portuguese custard tart was also incredible, again, freshly made .
We tried the pastel de nata , the almond pie and the croissants , everything was delicious and fresh!
Large breakfast portions! Had the Italian toast - fresh cheese ! Good for quick bites while waiting to visit Livaria Lello.
Very Friendly staff , best Fresh orange juice lifetime, very good prices, steaksandwich naaaais
Cookies : "rex", "parafusos" and "fidalgos". The "pastel de chaves " is also a must, so are the croissants .
Perfect choice for breakfast , polite staff but service is slow! Try circle bread with turkey-cheese-butter! The best one is the croissant !
Yummy croissant place. Also you can taste many traditional desserts . Don’t miss this place!
Fresh and homemade pastry . A lot of variations in miniature. Sweet and savory goodness.
WHY THERE: pastry , bakery . STUFF: amazing. STAFF : friendly . LOCATION: close to mainstream (convenient). PRICES: average (reasonable)
The food and coffee is ok. Not very tasty and the refinement is lacking in all pastries . So for people that lack refinement it is fine but for those who enjoy tasty stuff it's a no. Overrated for sure
Delightful types of breads . Best for the breakfast in Porto! Lots of breads .
The Pastel de Chaves is fantastic--basically a fried croissant with delicious meat inside.
Pastel de nata is very bad. Terrace could be nice but is full of pigeons willing to eat your food.
One of the best places for breakfast ! Excellent croissants !!
The perfect selection of pastries !
Try passion fruit cake , it's great
The Portuguese tarts (pastel de nata ) best everrrrrr mmmm
Tasty food, especially croissants , but service super slow and things you ordered arrive at different times or not at all :)
We liked everything and they have so sweet working
YOMYOMYOM. Everything's delicious + decently priced
My favorite place to have breakfast/lunch in Porto!
Good for all sorts of bread and pastries !
Omg, so freaking delicious. The best pastries I ever had.
Tried croissants as I somewhere read that they are great at this place but unfortunately felt nothing special as chocolate one was stuffed with too sweet Nutella as it seemed to me.
Try the little chicken pies ! Yum!!
Seriously..is that good! Just go!!
Very good bakery
Nice one, in comparison to most portuguese bakeries
Worst croissant , it’s too sweet and the chicken pie , they don’t even heat up@the chicken pie , only upon request.
Best bakery in town .
Tasty pastries
Everything sooo yammmm
Awesome pastries !
Pastries and bread !

Tasty food but poor service
best pastries and cookies in town
- Pirlot
Huge and yummy chocolate cake slice!!!! Nice working days lunches as well. - João Figueiredo
Well worth the entrance fee. Good selection of books and seeing the beautiful interior is amazing experience. - Victor Shchenkh
Fantastic views! Worth every penny! A must-do activity whilst in Porto! - Sam Perry
The eclairs are amazing and they offer a great variety of flavours. Place is pretty and staff was nice. Also nice homemade iced tea. Eclair drink is around 3/4€. - Miguel Aragão
