This place is AMAZING! Whether you like swimming , jet skis , boats, kayaks , paddle boarding, Lake Powell has it all. Make sure you make reservations 3-4 weeks in advance - all the tours sell out fast.

If you have the chance to rent a house boat, its definitely worth it. If you bring jet skis or a fishing/speed boat you can attach them to the boat. Find a calm cove to beach it on, out of the wind!

If you're swimming , skiing or show-boating here at Lake Powell, be aware the headwaters trace all the way to Trail Ridge Road , Grand County , Colorado. If you see @CaseyTDuncan here, throw him a rope.

Great place to camp, so close to the lake . When you don't want to drive the car to the beach you can park and walk 15 minutes.

Walk the Chains enough and you can find a place to swim in the lake with noone around.

The 1.5 hour boat trip is fun! Take your camera and sunscreen . Nice (lazy) way to see the scenery.

In 3978, Charlton Heston will land on this lake . Planet of the Apes 1968.

There are very beautiful places at Lake Powell. But be careful if you're on a boat. The sun can be very worse for your head. ^^
