Great location down in the harbour in an old colonial building. Lots of good eats around. Can be noisy on the lower floors when the person pub has a live band .
Food extremely fresh and service very friendly . Food is on the safe side of flavouring - nothing to daring regarding spice or punch but the freshness more than compensates for it.
Simple, clean accommodation . Nice staff . Good rates.

Chowder - creamy (could be chunkier). Crumbed scallops - good ( steamed may have been less fussy). Stir fry veg - char grilled taste. Very crisp. Great atmosphere/service. Fire /stone wall make it!
The taps in the bathrooms suit weathered hands - they have boiling water only.
