The beds are heaven, blackout curtains are dark, beautiful views and the staff has always been wonderful and accommodating (if you're looking for enthusiasm visit another state ).
The water pressure makes the shower feel like a fire hose, which is nice if you want to reenact Montgomery, AL back in the day...without the police and dogs, of course.
I love the customer service. They will do their best to ensure that your needs are met.
Decent hotel with a great view . A good walk from the downtown favorites. Bathroom toilets look like public ones and the AC is non-existence.
Excellent service . However, you can hear everything around you in the rooms.
The elevators are shut off at night. Call the front desk to get them activated or you'll just wait on the 10th floor forever.

Old and dated. Only plastic cups in the room. Loud a/c. Some doors don't function properly. Baggages take an hour to arrive. This hotel urgently needs a renovation.

Terrible checkin. Room not ready at 2:30a and they tried to pawn off the wrong room on us.
The door in your bathroom is in your way when you're trying to take a dump . I hate that.
Terrible customer service. If you aren't happy, they don't care and will do nothing to fix it. Not recommended for anyone. Ever.

Hotel Captain Cook is the best hotel in Alaska. Period. It's not perfect, but it's the best. They have an event planning dream team. I got engaged and married here in 2015. The Crow's Nest is great! - Abigail Turner
