Best theatre I’ve been so far., maybe not so luxurious as Garnier’s palace , but this building sounds as no other. Don’t miss it.
Superb is the 100+ year-old Teatro Colón or the 'jewel in the crown' of Buenos Aires, one of the most famous opera houses in the world. A must is the guided tour !.. A breathtaking experience!..
One of the Argentine national glory and pride. Guided tour , with multi-tier pricing, is highly recommended. Grab free entrance on Friday from 10:00 for Argentine performance on Sunday morning.
I had a free ticket for the Filarmonica rehersal today. It's a nice way to see the beautiful theatre from inside if you don't have money for a show.
Incredible theatre - The tour was great, lots of interesting information, and you get to see a great deal of the theatre without seeing a show there.
This famous opera house , ranked among the best in the world, is a huge and magnificent theater . Daily tours to its facilities are held for tourists who'd like to know more of its history.
The most amazing theater in South America! Every single performance is outstanding, and the acoustics are awesome!
Get tickets to an opera or Ballett for really cheap (5€). Not the best seats but well worth it too experience the theatre .
Absolutely stunning theatre . Try and splash out for the expensive sets because you can't quite see the stage from the top tier of the theatre .
Like being in Europe! Wonderful architecture . High level ballet and perfect service. Being there is a must.
If you want an English tour , book early in advance - very impressive theatre .
You need to buy ticket for the guided tour , they are inexpensive but if you show up in the morning like we did the next available tour was at 2;45pm.
This place is spectacular, truly a must-see at least for a tour but ideally a show. For shows, though, spend the extra money on GOOD seats. It is infinitely worth it for the best views and comfort.
Beautiful theatre with a good acoustics . Come in advance to spend some time in its splendid foyer.
Very nice theatre , but if you have visited European opera houses you won't be too impressed. Nevertheless worth the visit!
Be sure and get here early for same day tour tickets. They sell out quick. The tour is about 1 hour. Tours are offered in English or Spanish.
If you love lyric music , simphony, valet or Opera. This is one of the places in the world you should visit.
Splendid. A must see if in Buenos Aires.
Truly majestic! We paid for a tour and it was worth every penny. Lasts for about 1h15min.
Avoid seats to the side in the front (2 if poss) rows of the upper levels. When sat back in your seat you can see almost nothing of the stage. Leaning forward throughout the performance is painful
concerts , architecture . Is very nice place to visit
It’s a must in you are visiting Buenos Aires
The theatre is very tall with 6 stories, so dont get stuck at the top where acoustics aren't as good. The interior itself wasn't impressive, but I thoroughly enjoyed the Tchaikovsky symphonies
Worth the visit either when there's a performance or with the guided tour , beautiful decorations and architecture !
The best sounding building in the worl, maybe.
Beautiful feat of architecture . Would highly recommend doing the tour .
Very beautiful. Before going to Buenos Aires, it's a good idea to see what will be on display on the days you visit.
Good tourist stop for clean public restroom diagonally across from the fancy cafe .
Champagne bar is only on the 1st floor. If you are seating in parterre - on the ground floor they serve only overpriced nespresso. Take the stairs 1 floor up for wine and champagne !
One of five greatest theatres at the world!! Love it!
We paid about a dollar each to stand and watch from the top balcony . Obviously not the best view , but an incredible experience.
Dont miss the stainglasses from the Gaudin House in Paris brought and asambled here #teatrocolon #opera #operahouse
Beatiful building,guide tours are perfect
A beautiful tour . Highly recommend if you love Theatre , architecture , or history.
The guided tours are great! If you like to buy something from the gift shop you need cash :-)
Very nice and elegant theatre
Beautiful building!!! Amazing acoustics
Swan Lake was awesome! The building has nothing to envy from Versailles or the Opera Garnier .
Beautiful theater ! Best experienced when you're there for a show Read more

Take a tour of the Teatro Colon when you visit Buenos Aires. The "backstage" tour is incredible!
Beautiful but they have to coordinate Bette the guided tours with the rehearsals
Alucinante , a mid century temple for the arts . #heaven #argentina
Magic ... there’s only one Teatro Colon
Tours every day to visit the Theatre , and free concerts sometimes on Sundays.
Muy buena organización para las ventas. Empleados muy cordiales, customer oriented. - Any Evaraldo
Great self contained space with theaters, restaurants, parking and a small shopping. Good to get lost on the bridges and forget the caos outside. - D !
The obelisk and a good wide view of the avenue. Not much to see besides that. - Jorge ???? Avila ????
Churros &chocolate were simply amazing!!! Order also el lomo and was ok the tango show also good. - Ar Hiriart
Be careful with the prices. More expensive than shops outside but totally worth the visit and food court, cafes and the building itself are fantastic! - ESTELA B. M. Graff a.k.a Edelle
