Semengoh Wildlife Rehabilitation Reserve, which houses fascinating primates-orang utans included-and boasts of an arboretum, fernery, forest nursery, seed bank and many more. It acts like a sanctuary for the injured and orphaned orang utans.

Use your ticket to go in the morning and the afternoon. We saw 12 orangutans across the day, including Richie (king of the jungle ). The males came out after the tour groups had left.
Overall An amazing experience. We saw a number of orang utans during their feeding time. It is recommended not to visit during the fruiting season to avoid disappointment.
See semi-wild orang-utans, from infants to adolescents to adults, enjoying life in a secure natural habitat. Best visited during feeding times 9am-10am, 3pm-3.30pm.
Monkeys and crocodiles ! Get there around 8:30, morning feeding is the best moment for spotting the urang utangs. you’ll get a good close up view from the platform . make sure your group stays quiet !
Must come and pay a visit to orang utan!! Just RM5 per entrance and remember come on the feeding time. Else, u won't meet any of it!!!!
Wear comfortably and avoid high heels. You gonna have to walk thru jungle track to reach the feeding area
The chance to see orangutans during fruiting season is low. Didn't get to see them. They're busy finding fruits in the jungle .
Don't go during fruit seasons . End of the year as they orangutan are well fed inside the jungle to come out during feeding time
Managed to see 5 Orangutans but don't put your hopes high as there is a possibility you won't even see any
The place is open daily. Someone mentioned it is closed weekend, which is incorrect of course
Be quiet . Don't bring umbrella or pointed objects. Don't wear red.
December is fruit season , chances of them showing up is close to none.

Stay far away from 'Hot Mama', one of the older female orang utans. She bites and bites hard!
sorry...i meant. Last bus for tourist to leave semenggoh at 5.10-5.30 depends. The place closes at 4.30pm.
