The hotel staff was very friendly and the hotel is located a walkable distance from the Rideau Centre , a shopping center with plenty of shops and places to eat.
Get a room facing Elgin Street for an awesome view from your room of the procession of the guard along the street every morning during the summer months !
Nice and clean . Free internet for the first day. Walking distance to Parliament Hill , Rideau Canal , and Rideau Centre . Highly recommended.
Great location, great value . Skip the upgrade for a park view , as the one window in a standard room is too small to be worth it.
To celebrate Canada Day, and the royal visit of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Lord Elgin Hotel will be serving up an exact replica of the Royal wedding cake on July 1st at 2 PM. Join us!

Il doit y avoir 200 enfants qui hurlent et courent partout, sur tous les étages, à toutes les heures. (En plus de leurs profs /moniteurs/coatchs qui gueulent pour les faire taire). Reposant.
