This is the most community focused Starbucks in DC with private teamwork/group study room upstairs with door and the most comfortable study space with seasonal live fire.

If the upstairs is quiet and full of people doing their work don't be an ass and start yappin on your phone or decide this is the place to have a loud conversation. Be considerate of other people.

Staff is friendly , drinks are good. They're especially good for custom drinks. Ask for free iced water on hot days.

Secret loft is upstairs in the back. They also have the reserve roasts, which I would recommend.

My coffee spilled at work so I went back to purchase a new one, they recognized me from earlier and simply asked what I had and made it again without charge. Nicest staff !

Slowest Starbucks in the city , and never an apology or attempt at urgency. I leave irritated every time. I don't come to Starbucks for quality; I come for speed. Here I get neither.

Warning: if you get a cup from the clover machine it takes forever. I ordered at 8, didn't get my coffee until 8:35.

Worst starbucks I've ever been to by far. They had never heard of a black and white mocha latte and took 10 minutes to make it.
