Islamic Era Museum is a history museum District 12 Tehran located in Iran.
Tehran , Tehran Iran
Although newly opened after eight years, this museum is faced with very low number of visitors. The authorities need to look at ways of introducing this wonderful museum and make it more attractive .
One of the best museums I've ever been to... shows the beauty of Persian art after Islamic era.
I wonder why people often skip this part of the national museum , it's just as mesmeric as the "pre-islamic era"; if not more so!
It has a wonderful treasure, must see before leaving this area
Stunting:The Museum of the Islamic Era is one of the museums of the National Museum of Iran.
Old and beautiful books , some bowls and dishes, carpets and etc. Not as good as pre-islamic one.
محيطى آرام كه ميشه ساعت ها در آرامش به ديدن اشياء ارزشمند و نفيسش نشست ????????????????????????
Well organized museum with decent garden to hang out. Louvre museum in Tehran was pretty amazing. Highly recommended! - Bahram Movahed
A must visit! Beautiful architecture and really interesting artifacts (pottery & glassware) from around 10th century AD. Lots of awesome cafés close by too. - ᴡ M
A small museum of Old Tehrān; nice architecture; collection of vintage cameras; pleasant place for a rest; don’t miss the swings in the outer yard; no entry fee (April 2018). - Arya Rahimi Golkhandan
