A .8 mile hike uphill, but the view at the end is worth the work.
The stairs are narrow, dark, and often wet. Ascend slowly, but once you do the view is worth every miserable step.
Don't go alone, bring water. There are 2 ways of getting there, using the trail , or using service roads . The service road route from the ramp can take an hour and is a very tiring uphill walk.
It's a doable climb, don't pass if you have time. Take it slow or race to the top! The extensive view is worth it. You can see the Luquillo beaches from the north-facing side. - Karina Valverde
Great short trail as a gateway to El Yunque National Forest as well as excellent visitors' center! - Nancy H Thompson
Great for hiking! Fell in love with this place. Better to go in the morning, it gets pretty crowded in the afternoon. - Tonya Babich
Visited El Yunque again today! This time we went to Puente Roto, the cold river with huge boulders in it! Super cold water, crystal clear! Zip lining is also available. Best place to visit ever!!! - La Grilla
Ceviche arepas at #24 were so good. I took one to go! - Joann D
