Old Town is a neighborhood Dubrovnik
20000 Dubrovnik Croatia
Walking around the city walls is a must. Make sure you also visit the nice little shops across the city streets. Also very nice ambience at night, where you can go to a pub to have a drink or three!
Just not only for funs of Games of Thrones , but for all beloved in architecture , history and nature beauty
Game of thrones town !! Prepare 20 Euros for walking up the City Hall surrounding the old town for the amazing view !
Superb well-maintained city , Unesco heritage. Architectures are exceptional, interesting streets to visit. to do absolutely the Gradske Zidine! Buy Zagreb Card
The most interesting thing to see. The small side streets are full of suprises; interesting shops, bars and restaurants . Don't forget to walk the walls . In the night it's quite but very beautiful.
Excellent for dinners and evenings out, with lots of live music and places to eat. It's less hot then although still crowded . Nicer places next to harbour , they are also more pricey . Not for every day
Little Italy. Beautiful narrow streets. Lots of cafés and cute restaurants . Lots of tourists during the season. Get lost inside the scenic streets .
Lovely narrow alleys with plenty to explore from market stalls to a variety of eateries . Stop and have a beer and people watch and to catch some shade of course!
You can tour around day and night. It's impressive, very well preserved. Always crowded , there is lots of good restaurants . Too many shops around. Fantastic lights at nights.
Amazing place, visit off season, you basically will have the the whole town for yourself.
Amazing atmosphere in this beautiful old town , also you can find the real location where they filmed Game of thrones
Best place for the slow walks with camera . Try to avoid it in the morning when the cruise excursions crowd the central street Stradun. "Oliva Gourmet" is the best restaurant I have found in here.
Absolutely stunning, especially when lit up at night. A trip to the old town in the evening is a must when in dubrovnik
If you have time and you love singing then you have to listen to "Klape". Beautiful songs with more vocals creating a dream for your ears!
U must walk the walls to soak in the excellent views . Costs 100Kunas and gives u a great workout. Do it when it's less hot though.
Visit Buza I or Buza II for early evening drinks. Walk along the city walls early on your first day to get an idea of the layout. Dolce Vita, near the Pile entrance , has the best gelato .
Get nice photos of the old town from the walls , but to catch all of it in one frame, take the cable car , walk or drive to the Srdj mountain .
Great place to wander and get lost in. Take a walk around the city walls but be prepared for the sun
Perfectly preserved and restored town centre. A real pleasure to walk around and discover hidden corners.
Walk inside and out won’t take u a day. Amazing place with impressive prices lol ????
Amazing historical town . Get lost inside the scenic streets . Walk along the city walls early in the morning !
If you wanna have great pics, wake up at 05:00 a.m. and walk through the old city , you will be alone, taking the pics of empty old streets..(:❤
Pretty spot to walk around. Try going to the little alleys the branch from the main street to find more restaurants with good food
This isn't beautiful area to walk around in the evening or during sunset . Enjoy some great music during weekends over gelato or coffee
Incredibly scenic . As beautiful as Florence or any other historic walled city . But not as breezy and cool as Korcula, which we also loved.
Clean streets, beautiful monuments , nice people. Enjoy music of the street-corner musicians , tasty homemade ice-creams
Very beautiful place, especially from sunset onwards with less tourists and heat. Dont be lured by the ice cream shops in the Main Street. Worst ever!
You have to try local red wine "Dingač"... for me the best ted wine in the world!
breathtakingly beautiful, this summer oasis is still rustic and quite unspoilt. head here before everything becomes too commercialized
Plenty of stairs to find your way away from the main street. Beth beautiful and breathtaking views all over
Superb architecture and bustling plazas .
Nice for a walk. Be ready to take many stairs. Pricey . Lots of small streets to wander around. Can be overcrowded with tourists during the summer.
Lovely place don't miss it when you visit Budrovnik.
Amazing place! Narrow old streets. Delicious ice cream . Lots tourists from all world :)
Prepare yourself for REALLY BIG CROWDS of tourists . Stradun street paving stones are polished like a new car and shining on the sun!
There's people dressed as pirates with parrots & macaws. Don't give them money. Macaws are wild birds not pets , they get stressed by people and can't fly away (wings clipped, maybe eyes poked ). Cruel.
If you’re looking for things to watch out. Here are some. Look for Foursquare / TripAdvisor ratings for the restaurants ( some are tourist traps ). Buy the city tourist card. Use uber and bus service.
Many stores, very beautiful for walking it's amazing place
The prettiest area is directly to the right and uphill when you enter the pike gate.
Beautiful old town but crowded and loud . Small alleys offer some nice and quiet restaurants .
Walk around the City Walls , the main street and the many alleys
Crowded in summer but beautiful to explore nonetheless.
Amazing old town ! Take a break at the harbour at night.
The old town is always crowded to 90%. Only in winter you have a chance to enjoy the old town .
Amazing white marble covered streets that come out of a fairy tale!
Amazing historical town to explore
Beautiful architecture and strolling.
Restaurants outside of the walls are generally much cheaper than the ones inside, for similar quality.
Find the Buza bar - a hole in the city wall leading out to a nice little cliff-side bar
Walk on the city walls at 8:00am when it opens to avoid the cruise ship crowds
It is very pleasant with nice restaurants, cafes and bars. Walking by the sea and around the walls is also amazing. Many boat tours are available. Sit on a cafe, and do people watching. - Murat
