This Aquarium was founded in the year of 1995, as part of the construction of the Fisheries Research Institute (FRI). FRI Aquarium was intended to fulfilled the needs of public awareness on local marine flora and fauna and as conservation of marine resources.

I give 4.5/5 for condition. Much much improved. Entry fee is RM5 but for school trip RM1.50 each. Lots of marine species. Got shark, seahorse, jellyfish , pacu fish , some alien species and lot more !
Just take note that this is a small research center and its purpose is to show case what they are doing in Malaysia . The condition is sad but what do you expect from rm 5 entry fee
