This is a hugely popular lunch spot downtown for plate lunches . Come early if you want to get in on the daily specials . Wait to late and they'll be sold out.

Came after the lunch rush (1:00pm) and the lady behind the counter was very nice. Nothing fancy here, just plain good food.

To expand on Anthony's tip; the lady at the register is like the Soup Nazi. Know what you want to order when you reach her, be sure you say what size (mini/reg) & if you want white or brown rice .

To even further expand on the grouchy lady, have your $ ready to go along with your order. If you take too long she will breathe heavy and give you stink eye.

They have the best boneless chicken on the island !

The.loco moco with fried rice is the best.
