The food nearly brought me to tears. You can taste the love and authenticity in each bite. The octopus was cooked perfectly. The ali nazik was incredible. Can't get over that eggplant .
Perfect food and service,, the staff are so friendly ,, the kebbe is awesome and the lamp kabab is so juicy and delicious ????
Everything was perfect. Real turkish cuisine ! I felt like i was at my grandma s house. Definitely try whatever they recommend. We loved the daily specials . Thanks for amazing food and merry Christmas
Try the Ali Nazyk, the tender and flavorful lamb chops and definitely the seasonal simmered pumpkin desert ! We were happily transported to Turkey for the duration of this very authentic dinner .
We've tried patlican oturtma(eggplant appetizer ), icli kofte(stuffed meatballs ), stuffed mussels , tripe soup , lahmacun , palamut(a kind of fish ). Authentic atmosphere was awesome. We really enjoyed????????
They care about hygiene. The appetizers are very tasty. The staff is courteous and fast. Prices are normal. Roasted liver is my favorite
Wow. This food is exceptional. Words cannot describe the high quality meals. Must do: manti, octopus , baklava . You'll never forget this place #GEM
Pretty much the best muhammara in the city ! Maybe ever! Ali nazik was a great dish, minsed beef on top of baba ghanouge. I really haven't enjoyed my food as this time in so long.
Focus on the Ottoman cuisine here and you’ll do well . Manti, Muhummara, Lebni, Adana, Turkish sausage , Calf’s liver , yum ????
The best Turkish food in Manhattan. Ask them to make a mezze platter of appetizers . Also the hunkar begendi (lamb w eggplant purée) is unbelievably good.
Authentic food, everything was delicious - lamb kebabs , octopus , calamari , spinach with chickpeas and def try the pistachio baklava ... Excellent customer service.
Bit of a hidden gem in Turtle Bay . Family owned, authentic Turkish cuisine . The braised lamb over eggplant is A1. Overindex on mezze
The food is very tasty! The service was excellent. We were with a small child and the owner was very friendly with him. Octopus is a must!
Sanki annemin yemekleri, hele türk misapirverliği takdire şayan // Reminds me of my mother's kitchen. It also comes with great Turkish hospitality .
Excellent vegan options ! Order the roasted red pepper dip , charred octopus and garlic shrimp . For mains order the lamb chops .
Kuzu Tandır (lamb , rice , see http://turkishfood.about.com/od/MainDishes/r/Turkish-Roasted-Lamb-Is-Called-kuzu-Tandir.htm) - is delicious. It's a must.
Great service and very tasty food ???????? well done
We ordered a mix of appetizers that wasn't on the menu... It served very well 2 persons. The highlight was the Fetta Cheese Borek ????????
Everything from starters till desert . The waiters were all very helpful and friendly . Authentic Turkish dishes. Really "evde yemekler"
I would bathe in that eggplant
micro-meatball stuffed manti dressed with garlicky yogurt sauce , dried mint in butter and a dusting of sumac and paprika .
Octopus and marinated artichoke appetizers are fantastic. Semolina cookies are doused in buttery deliciousness
Their lamb shank is a giant portion and quite delicious. One of the better Turkish restaurants in the city .
Best Turkish food in NYC. Everything is delicious, good service and very very reasonable prices
Youshould try the buttered noodles as a side with peppers , great flavors. The hot yogurt soup is delicious!
Over rated and expensive . Paid 100 dollars for 2 persons without drinks. Small portions. Food is ok but we expected better after reading the reviews.
Delicious babaganoush , borek (mmm like salty mozzarella sticks ), and if they have it, baby blue fish
Been here few times till date, grilled octopus never disappoints, grilled lamb chops and roasted eggplant rock too!!!
Very authentic ! Get the octopus and the calf tongue for sure. YUM.
Really good Turkish dishes. Try kokorec, roaster liver and borek
the hot yogurt soup is probably one of the best soups i've had in the city . everything's great. don't forget the baklava for dessert !
Excellent Middle Eastern food . The octopus and lamb meatballs were standouts.
Get the octopus and the liver to share! Def get the cheese too!
Had the chicken kebab . Authentic . Great for anybody craving some good meat.
Ask for the off menu stuff. Midye dolma , iskembe, kelle paca, beyin salayasi.
Lamb Ossobuco and almond pudding are to die for
Great Turkish dinner I often go to Turkey and it was like I've been to Istanbul
Really friendly atmosphere . The employees really make you feel right at home
Lamb shank and eggplant ... service is super friendly
Always a must when we're in town . For dessert , order the Butternut Squash . You won't regret it.
Delicious Turkish cuisine ! Number 1 in NYC
Hot Yogurt Soup + Beef Tenders over eggplant = satisfied customer :)
Delicious food and excellent service!
Very authentic ! Family Style . Try the Ali Nazyk.
EVERYTHING!
Their chef must have changed. It isn’t the same Sip Sak anymore. Their kebabs are very disappointing and not delicious. Try elsewhere!
Get all the lamb dishes . All of them.
Try kokoreç, you won’t regret it????
The clientele is weird, but the octopus is awesome! ????
You have to order the grilled octopus !
Yogurtlu karisik is excellent! Staff is friendly and attentive. Hidden gem in Murray Hill. - Raphie Syed
