Great Revolutionary War museum with video presentations, artifacts , and shop. Not to mention the park itself: running trail , monuments , great place to picnic .
Awesome biking / running trails which connect to the Atlantic Yadkin Greenway (7+ more miles of trails !)
A National Park where a significant battle was fought during the Revolutionary War they feature almost 30 honorary monuments throughout the park . Dogs must remain on-leash & under supervision.
Great for dogs and strollers! Watch out for cars on main paved road though... I've encountered a vehicle or two driving a little too fast through the park . Lots of shade -- cool scenery.

It's so peaceful walking the trails out here. I love all of the history behind the place.

Take north Bi-centennial bike path for short more scenic ride.
2.25 mile loop with great bike trails and lots of wildlife . My favorite place to run.
