Samuel de Champlain Statue

Located at the peak of Nepean Point, this sculpture was created by Hamilton MacCarthy in 1915. He holds an Astrolabe... upside down. In 1918, an Anishinabe scout was added, but this sculpture has since been relocated to Major's Hill Park.
