If you want to walk all the way out along the strand , be sure to wear some good shoes ! It's rocky and muddy and you'll be crawling through bushes, but the view at the very tip is worth it.
Nice scenic views of the lake and a charming little lighthouse .
Beautiful. So sad the water is so low. Water is way out now - 400 meters from the beach . If you walk out to go swimming take water shoes , water is only a couple of inches deep, but rocky bottom.
Come out in the winter time to hike out the strand . Lots of fun ice formations around the stones, great photo ops, and fun for the kids. Dress warm.
Be sure to take the steps down to the beach for great lighthouse shots!
The landscape and scenic views are outstanding!
Come back during the winter, and you may be able to catch the sights of Snow Owls.
Dress Warm in the winter. The winds will cut through you but great pic opportunities make it well worth the trouble.
It's a very quaint place with a nice view .
How neat!!!! Halfway point on the 45th parallel !!!
Remember to check in to the 45th Parallel too! Halfway between the Equator and the North Pole!
The Lighthouse is underwhelming. More interesting to stack the rocks along the shallow waters of the shoreline.
Don't bother.
Best view! - Nikki Rousseau
Great cozy atmosphere. Pulled pork nachos, ribs, and the Majestic ale were all fabulous. And the homemade chips,, to die! Eat here! - Briana
Stop by for some great lunch. The stuffed grape leaves are to die for. Homemade soups are always delicious as well. - Amy Denawetz
