The chicken (wonderful) and kraut (slightly too süß for me) feel almost incidental to the atmosphere. Perfect classical Tavern. History in the walls, the beer and bitters served with a flirty smile.

You don't wanna leave Berlin without being here.this place is so unique, so old and so cozy . They have a very special chicken and beer . Ask them and you'll get that.

The name says it all. half roasted chicken with potato or cabbage salad . Juicy with crisp skin , but a bit too salt for my taste. An institution and mentioned in several guides, so make a reservation .

I have witnessed a life long Vegetarian convert to the meaty side at Die Henne. Irresistibly great chicken .

At the last table with 4 Germans. 3 now local. One hasn't been here since the 80's, says it looks the same plus just ordered more chicken . The chicken is tasty and at €8 can't possibly be overrated.

You don't get a knife here, just a fork, so take some wet wipes with you as your hands will get very greasy from the chicken .

Old school meal of half a fried chicken , side slaw , and potato salads . Not much else on the menu other than beer .

A bit pricey but good chicken . If you want tap water , it'll cost you €1 unless you order another drink.

Sorry, IMHO it's overestimated. Avoid the potato salad , it's a complete disaster and you can find better chickens anywhere in Berlin. Cs 3/4 of the guests are tourists , it looks like a trap.

Kartoffelsalat , currywurst and 1/2 a chicken . Great combination!
