The craft shop is nothing special. The walk to Bass Lake is very enjoyable but remember it'll be uphill on the way back! It's about 4.5 miles roundtrip. Will probably see people on horses.
25 miles of carriage trails to hike . Very nice craft shop with handmade crafts all made in the Appalachian Mountains .
Free admission . Local art hand made crafts. Historic Cone mansion. Ten miles north of the Linville viaduct.
One of the best selections of North Carolina arts and crafts: pottery, textiles, gifts . Beautiful setting.
There's bathrooms here but none are inside of the manor itself. They are located near the parking lot in their own structure .
Great place to buy handmade products from local artisans .
Great spot for some scenic photos.
Store and building Re organized .
Don't take kids into the craft shop . Even if well behaved, the staff will complain and threaten to charge you if they break anything. They were quite rude.
Staff in craft shop are rude.
