Excellent breakfast dishes . The pastries are very fresh (the Pecan Roll is amazing!). Also, the breakfast flatbread is a must (bacon , scrambled eggs , tomatoes , cheese--all on a thin, crispy flatbread )
The shells of the macarons are satin smooth and beautifully colored. Most have a great texture. The standout flavors include the choco-coconut, which tastes like a Samoa, and the mint .
The only place in Chicago with authentic canele de Bordeaux . May I also say they are some of the best I have had in America. A canele and espresso and you will be transformed to Paris. -Malika Ameen,
Great desserts especially rosé macaroon , and coffee . They write different things on coffee , which is so cute . Staff are super nice,no parking
If you go to this place order the cheesecake it is out of this world. And try creme brûlée and pistachio white chocolate ????????????

In the morning, they’re packed with tourists chowing croissants . In the evening, you have the place to yourself. Which is curious, because we love the simple charcuterie plates and Alsatian tarts . Read more
Omg I love this place. Great scene and the cheesecake and nutella macaroon are too die for.
Macarons !! Decisions, decisions... Nutella - by far the best!! Try birthday cake , strawberry , chocolate , & pistachio . Rich, decadent, flavorful, & superb quality!
one of the best places to stop and people watch or pass the time with a cup of coffee off of Michigan Avenue
Brunch menu is great - love the frittata . Macaroons to go are a great idea if you happen to be passing through
Chicken Tart Flambé (onion jam , pulled chicken , goat cheese , spinach , mozzarella )
At lunch time, quiches are heavenly with flat bread a close second. Tea is served the way it should be. Service can be slow at times.
#breakfast in #chicago doesn't get better than the croissant sandwich at Pierrot Gourmet. See for yourself!
Split the popover ... delicious but massive
Cheesecake here is always on point. The raspberry tart did not taste as good as it appeared.
If you're a fan of sinfully good chocolate cake , walk straight to the glass pastry case and order the Chocolate Obsession . That is all.
Quaint French bistro . Breakfast is fabulous. Delicious pastries .
Yet another great #breakfast experience at Pierrot Gourmet. The breakfast croissant is a must try! Great cappuccino too!
Just had dessert here. Excellent cheese cake , light and fresh.
smooth as satin & vibrantly colored shells. try the choco-coconut (fancy samoa) and mint (think thin mints !) macarons for something different!!

One of the best French inspired deserts I’ve ever had!
Good place to get to-go espresso and pasties without a wait.
Possibly the best coffee in the city . Try the tarte flambé , all the pizza topping goodness without the carb heavy crust guilt
The breakfast biscuit is amazing!!!
Phenomenal coffee and delicate sweets. Darling place. Definitely want to check out after morning rush.
Perfect place to relax with pot of tea , dessert , love the quiche ! Warm, friendly vibe . Outside of The Peninsula at the corner.

Service is amazing! Made my coffee with the wrong syrup and were very gracious and didn't charge me the $6 bucks.
Peanut butter &jelly macaroon and caramel cream puff . The latter being the better.
Great for breakfast or an afternoon aperitif!
Cocktails are as good as you see
Rotisserie amish chicken is a must ????????
I went for a French toast and that was pretty good.
Disappointed to see they didn't have quiche , but the popover was way better than a quiche could have been anyway. Delicious!
Food is delish, soup du jur is always good. A little bit of Paris in Chicago.
