I shop mainly at Aldi. Their food quality has gone through the roof in the last few years. It's no longer a place to get "college grade" food. Just watch the dates and the meat.
All the Aldi brand stuff is pretty good. Not usually organic or low fat , but much cheaper than comparable items at a regular grocery .
Go first thing in the morning- - empty then, no long lines or grocery cart wars.
