Isle Verde Beach is hands down one of the best beaches in PR with easy access to lots of amenities from casinos to great food. When I stay in PR, I stay on Isle Verde :)

Short cab ride from Old San Juan. You can rent chairs and an umbrella at the beach and get drinks just across the street.

The water is warm and the sand is soft.only downfall is if it's windy you're getting pelted by sand. But it's a great beach

Great place to run, surf and ppl watch (and at the west end there are tons of palms w/ coconuts and good rocks to open them with)! Wish I was here every day

Chair and umbrella rentals came in handy. BYOC (bring your own cooler; no glass) there's also a cafe and food carts. No lifeguards I don't think. Went on a Thursday afternoon and wasn't too crowded .
