Amazing food !!!! High quality gourmet but in generous portions ! Don't be fooled by the prices it really worth it ! Very sad that we have to return back to London but hopefully will visit again
One of the best in the Lake District. We were here for two weeks and tried many. Cocktails to start. Good choice. Many deserts . Reserve in advance!
Best food we've had in the UK, period. Mind blowing deserts , very inventive main courses, grade A+ service and presentation. The pavlova was out of this world!
delicious food and brilliant service! good luck on conquering three courses, the portion sizes are huge! if you book in advance (strongly reccomend) you even get a mention on the menu!
Incredibly personal and delightfully cosy place . Don't overindulge on the starters and mains -- the dessert menu is just as long!
A real gem! Stand out dishes were the Lamb rump and rhubarb/ginger crumble with a beautiful custard ! Highly recommend
Cosy and very welcoming. Food was delicious!
Amazing Food and Great Location
It was very stuffy and warm. Also a very long wait for everything. The food was fine but not sure it was worth the wait.
Book a day our stop beforehand and see your name on the menu. The food is incredible the scalllops are a fab starter.
Definitely one of the best restaurants in Ambleside.
If you're on gluten free diet, you CAN NOT miss it
Food is really good!
