Much bigger than expected but collection is largely uncurated I struggled to make sense of many of the paintings & much of the furniture . Worth a visit. Fabulous Henri painting snuck in
Set in a beautiful palace on the Victory street, it’s an awsome display of famous local painters like Grigorescu , Tonitza, Baba , etc. Great looks, but allow at lest two hours to visit;
The fine works of Nicolae Grigorescu are a real highlight.
One of the best museums in Europe :)
Goooood! Many pictures and not so expensive !
Set in a beautiful Cantacuzino palace, it boasts Enescu’s memorabilia in a few beautiful rooms; a little worn out; toilet is very “rustic”; kind staff; Enescu’s house in the rear - closed; - Bogdan D.
Cool architecture, fresh curatorial approachement (Romanian art produced between 60s and today), major international artists on temporary exhibitions, interesting shop items and, yeah, gooood coffee. - Silviu Dancu
Small but beautiful downtown villa, containing some paintings and Aman’s memorabilia; kind but annoying staff; no parking or wi-fi; very well mantained; - Bogdan D.
If you are freezing ???? come here and have a carafe of local wine ???? - rula manti
