Feels like pre-crash Manhattan all over again at Gabriel Kreuther, the namesake Alsatian joint by the chef who spent nearly a decade at The Modern slinging tarte flambées . ★★★
Went here for lunch and it was amazing! I had the sashimi appetizer and the duck breast entree (see pic). Both delicious. Highly recommend
Expect white tablecloths , four-star service, and elegant Gallic-German fare. That means beer soup with ham hocks , scallion kougelhopf, and foie gras & squab croustillants.
I liked the comfortable atmosphere of this restaurant . Their patisserie seems to be the best. The lunch prix fixe menu is great.
Fantastic restaurant focusing on food from Alsace with a very reasonable tasting menu for what you get. One of the better and underrated fine dinning options in Manhattan.
Fabulous, amazing, gorgeous dinner ! Just wow! Everything blew me away. Dying to go back! I can't pick my favs because it's all that good!
Beautiful dining room. Fantastic service. Some very nice dishes, but for a heart at a spot like this you gotta absolutely crush.
Crispy Sweetbread , Smoked Diver Scallops , Roasted Cali Squab&Nova Scotia Halibut paired w white burgundy . All moist&delicious. Surprise delight-romaine lettuce topped w basil breadcrumbs . Won me over.
For foodies looking for one of the finest food experiences in New York, but with warmth and hospitality at its core. A wonderful Michelin restaurant with a world-class chef Gabriel cooking for you!
Get the full course chefs meal. Expensive yes, but the Symphony of flavors, presentation and flavors are absolutely sublime and worth it. Great drinks ask well
Everything is awesome - the 10 course tasting menu is one of the best meals I've had in NYC. Impeccable and friendly service . Great for a special occasion .
The salted caramel chocolate is to die for. Order the drink, Marie Laveau, it's like an esoteric Manhattan . The beef tartare is delicious - you won't regret it!
Like g island crescent fuck with duck sausage , red cabbage ,and spinach stuffed noodle . Amazing.
for a 4-course fixed price dinner of this caliber, GK delivers on every level (especially price, which is less than what you'd think for a meal this memorable and luxurious . [>$98/pp])
The duck is a treat and the breast meat comes also with duck sausage and crispy duck skin. Yummy
Beautiful restaurant , fantastic service, and wonderful meal!
The chef here is known for his tarte flambees , which is pretty much an Alsatian pizza . The by-the-glass gewurztraminer is a must try as well
Gabriel Kreuther - GK - WOW - exquisite fare (one of best experiences ever-anywhere). Can't wait 4 next meal. Culinary creation at its finest from a master. Stellar team. Bravo!
The chocolate tarte with coffee is the perfect way to end dinner here. We had excellent service - very friendly .
Go for a special occasion and plan to spend a leisurely time tasting beautifully styled plates. Service is exceptional.
Spectacular service and presentation. A really lovely evening but I have say I like Jean Georges food a wee bit better.
Langoustine tartare was excellent and unique. Every dish was impressive.
Lots of space between tables for business dinners/business lunches or romantic meals - good privacy and space here!
Scallop sashimi with Meyer lemon sauce . Perfect dish. Best ever
Everything you'd expect. Get here early for a spot. Don't like being in 42nd, but otherwise great atmosphere
