A very good museum ! You are guided in your mothertounge by a audioguide wich starts automaticly when you enter the room or area. A lot of other media. Plan 2 hours at least.
Very informative exposition about whale fishing . Highly recommended.

Für mich das beste Museum auf Madeira. Sehr detaillierte Ausstellung über die Geschichte des Walfangs mit mehrsprachigem Audioguide . Selbst der Coffee Shop ist super. Unbedingt besuchen!
Retrace l'histoire de la chasse à la baleine et de son évolution depuis la nuit des temps. Musée moderne avec support didactique. A voir ! Possibilité de se restaurer sur place .
