Probably my favourite place in Ottawa. Hot chocolate was great. Perfect for groups and dates. Great staff also! Highly recommended!
Lots of games! We even found a new game that was great (check out Anomia)! The service was good (staff took themselves a bit too seriously) but the drink selection isn't huge
Great for a couple or group. $5+tax cover per person. Be prepared for a wait list on Friday night, but they will call you when your table opens up. I highly recommend this place!
They now have gluten-free options. Tables have glass tops and shelves underneath, perfect for storing food or board game boxes while you play.
Great selection of board games ! A fun way to spend an evening. It can get a bit loud sometimes, especially in the evenings and on weekends.
Our busiest times are Fridays and Saturdays after 8. We don't take reservations , so if you want to make sure you get a table, try to come in before 7!
Wide-selection of board games , decent beer/wine list and menu, and relaxing atmosphere . Would be a good spot for a double date
Great for groups of 2-6. There aren't any large circular tables for bigger groups to comfortably play a game. Delicious baked snacks , but small beer selection .
A great option for anyone who doesn't want to get drunk and go dancing with the university students. Amazing bar food!
Lots of board games , super friendly staff , good food.. On busy nights the wait to get a table wasn't bad (less than 15 minutes)
Ok so, we arrived outside the main door with slices of pizza and a sandwich because we were really hungry after a long day of tourist attractions , and a guy asked us to go eat on the street.
Best place to spend an afternoon playing crib or monopoly!!! Lots of variety!
Lots of funny games, cosy atmosphere , somehow noisy but still amusing.
Friendly and helpful staff , relaxed atmosphere , great food and great selection of games .
Great selection of games and food. Good atmosphere. Very friendly staff .
Wonderful selection of games, friendly staff and tasty treats.
They have a new place called Level One downstairs now - it's equally as fun.
Nice selection of games and video games ! However, only 4 hours during weekends:(
Food is good, drinks are ok, the games are awesome.
Playing board games at The Loft, this place is intense! What superhero name should I use?!
Pierogis were very good!
Pizzas and board games !
Good place to kill time.
Hipster heaven, that describes it best, so if you're a hipster king/queen then you'd enjoy this place. The cannoli are just meh for $6 - Sabrina S.
Better than the Byward location! Friendly staff. The hot chocolate was okay. Crepe was hard, but pretty good. Aesthetically pleasing. I'd definitely go back! - Charysse G. R
Great friendly service by Jessica and barkeep/burusta Trevor. Relaxed comfy stuffed chairs in. Ok good for intimate chats. Board games and quiet reading over good coffee, Wine or beer (bottled). - Martin C F Dunn
