Here is the only surviving Mozart apartment in Vienna. While he lived there from 1784 to 1787 that he composed one of his most well known operas The Marriage of Figaro. Today, the four floors of Mozarthaus Vienna present extensive information about Mozart with a focus on his years in Vienna.

I don't understand the flood of negativity in the comments. I spent a good two hours walking through the composer 's history with a very competent audio guide included in the €10 price of admission.
I expected more of belongings from the Mozart’s apartment , but what made a very good impression is full and interesting info on audio guide
Great museum which includes not only Mozart 's apartment , but 2 more floors of historical context. Although there is no single original Mozart 's belonging, I've spent 2 hours here with great pleasure!
When you get tickets, do not take the elevator . Just walk through the stair and have the fun to walk alone in Mozart 's house alone. The tour starts from 3rd floor. Just reverse it. 10 eur ent. fee.
I took the audio tour . I really enjoyed my time here. I got a much deeper view into the life and history of Mozart . Would go again.
audio tour is free with admission and makes the €10 entrance fee worth it. otherwise, the museum can be done in 30 minutes. cannot take pictures inside.
Wrong location!
Don't bother if you're expecting to see the actual apartment Mozart used to live in or any of his belongings. It is all new and renovated so just the "story of Mozart " in a building he used to live in
You can visit the house he lived, hear the history of some of his operas and see a couple of paintings .
Really nice experience, the audio guide is also great. If you love classical music this place is a must.
The staff working there are very impolite especially in the shopping area. Apart from that I liked the museum . It was impressive to see Mozart 's masonic belongings.
The feeling you get walking through this house is amazing, absolutely worth the time
only worth to taste the spirit of Mozart .. otherwise nothing special to mention.. 10 euro entrance
Now a museum , this is the place where the composer lived for a couple of years. Located at the Old Town , and just a few minutes away from St. Stephen's Cathedral .
If you get asked if you are a student just say yes. They may just get you a lower priced ticket. Wink wink ????
Fare includes audio guide and cloakroom. Story telling not super inspiring, could have done better given the richness of this legend.
Good overview about Mozart life in Vienna specially with audio tour .
An amazing, historic location and wonderful music venue .
9€ for students. ???? Audio guide included in the price. Not much to see but the man lived in this place, right?
This was trip highlight. This room is where M wrote and rehearsed. It's small, intimate , with beautiful frescos on the walls. A fantastic place to see a string quartet.
Apartment where Mozart used to live. No display of Mozart 's belongings. Good audioguides though.
Famous composer , famous house... the spirit of fame. Worth to visit.
Don't expect lots of artefacts, just a great historical story and location
Mozart apartment and museum :)
A half hearted attempt at a Mozart musuem. Salzburg musuem is probably a better stop.
It was really comprehensive and useful
Below average I'm afraid. They don't have much information about Mozart 's life in this apartment . Also the audio guide segments are too long.
Sehr modern museum.Many information.
I'm usually loath to give a bad review, but avoid this place. It is really poorly executed and contains nothing original. If you already know Mozart 's story, you will gain nothing new here.
Waste of time and money. Entrance is 11 Euro. It has no furniture , nothing in the house. Just photos on the walls where you can see online.
Buy tickets to see the quartet play here evenings.
Nice house.
We had much more expectations than what we saw here.
Not worth the visit, the house is mostly empty and there is nothing but a bunch of photocopied drawings, pictures, etc. Also, there aren't original artworks
Ok but Salzburg is better!
Cognitive dissonance: boring museum of the interest person...
Unfriendly staff , poor curation and storytelling, super-opinionated audio guide , not many real artefacts. Disappointing.
Didn't worth 10EUR entrance fee.
Not worth it. Nothing genuine. It's just a house full of paintings (reproductions, not originals) and partiture photocopies. Not even a piece of furniture that belonged to Mozart .
The quartett plays really successful.
Not worhting...Nothing specialy to see exept his apartment in the 3rd floor...
I was expecting more.
Nice museum shop.~
Mozart 's Music
This is the most pointless thing, not worth your 10 euro. Find something else to waste an hour on
Tourist trap.
Shit! Not worth it.
Mozart'a dair çok şey aramayın.Kısa süre yaşadığı bir yer.Mozart peşindeyseniz,doğru yer Salzburg...İyi kurgulanmış birkaç sahneleme dışında iyi bir müze olduğunu söyleyemem.
В этом доме композитор написал оперу «Свадьба Фигаро» / In this apartment Mozart lived longer than any other. In this house, the composer wrote the opera "The Marriage of Figaro" and his other works.
Fascinating experience! Went with basic knowledge about Freud and the place, the conservation of it and the movie his daughter made really moved me! I recommend it, one more must-see while in Vienna. - Stanislav Dimitrov
This is one of the best museums that I've seen in Vienna, I like it even better than Schönbrunn - Ghazal Nkz
5€ for 2 rooms in a house where beethoven might not even be living! not proportionate! - Michaela
Breathtaking cathedral in the center of Vienna. Free entrance. Definitely worth a visit. - Amaury J
The scenic views are unbeatable - since it's directly connected to the U-Bahn, do take the time to explore this wonderful architectural square. - Andreja Fajfar
