I think the croissants at Loafer are the best in the city . The woman who runs the place is a witch and her staff are all on another planet but the pastries are worth it.
Quaint little bakery with a good selection of French style pastries for sharing... but in the cold months you may want to indulge in a sausage roll instead!
If they weren't organic , I'd swear there was something addictive in the friands. The egg baguette is also amazing.
I suppose the 'loafer' is more about them sleeping in. As much as I like this place, they don't open at bakers' hours. A bit late for me on the weekend!

Deliscious organic treats in a cozy environment . Sourdough breads are amazing, and I would sell my mother for the lentil and mushroom pie . Thumbs up for everything and the world. ;)
Delicious sourdough , mostly indifferent service.
Get there before 12.23pm if you want lunch as they run out early. Wonderful pies though!
