With campuses on the lakefront and in the heart of downtown, Loyola University Chicago has deep roots in the city of Chicago. We challenge students to learn broadly, to think critically, to serve generously, to lead with integrity, and to respect diversity. We strive to build a community of all faiths and ethnic and economic backgrounds with the common purpose of creating a better society. The city is both our classroom and playground. Come explore it with us!

Avoid the elevators , take the stairs . They are well maintained & take you anywhere in the building you want to go!
The north bank of elevators (on your right if you're coming from a first floor entrance) now run express - they only stop on floors 1 and 10-14.
Real trick to catching the elevator : get on 10 minutes before class lets out. To the 8:15 or 8:30 you're SOL.
Take the stairs down to the lower level, then get in the elevator .
Check out the study rooms on the 9th floor. Great views of the surrounding skyscrapers .

Try the 7th floor study tables !
Student parking discount still works for alumni.
Arrive at least 3 days early if you plan on taking an elevator .
Don't take the elevator from LL to 1, from 1 to 2, etc. Don't be that guy or gal.
The elevator near the bathrooms smells like ass. Or what I think ass would smell like. Ass like.
